Overheard while Dorothy was reading and turned to an illustrated page: "Oh, I should have seen that! It's not the Fairyland Place, it's the Fairyland Palace!"
Dorothy's teacher was out for the day because her son was sick. When I picked up Dorothy from school, she announced, "We had a spare teacher today!"
Lately Dorothy is obsessed with the idea of a diary. I told her that I found one online that she could buy with her $5. "How many keys does it have?" she asked. "Two," I told her. "But I've thought of four places to hide the keys," she said.
