Dorothy was sleeping in her bed on the first night that she used her canopy.
"I think that tomorrow we should have a major cleaning day," she said.
"Ok," I asked, "why?"
"Well, the canopy looks really nice and makes me think that my room should be clean. And if my room is clean, it makes me think that the whole house should be clean. If the whole house is clean, we won't have to close all the doors when people come over."
Dorothy received a board game as a gift. The premise is that a fox stole a pie and you have to figure out which fox did the deed. Dorothy was studying the box. "It's just like Clue," she announced, "but not scary!"
We were playing Sorry and Dorothy and I teamed-up against Brian. "Girls rule! Boys drool!" I exclaimed at some point. Dorothy looked at me with surprise. "How do you know that? Kids in my class made that up!" she said.
