We were playing Go Fish. Dorothy is still learning the names of the suits. She drew a card and told me, "I have the Queen of Shamrocks and the Queen of Sparrows!"
Dorothy still adds an -er to words to indicate their function. She has a toy doctor kit and needle, and she refers to the shot as the "shot-er".
In the early morning I told Dorothy that I was going to sing to Daddy, which happened to be in my throaty morning voice. Dorothy said, "You don't have to sing in Daddy's voice. You should sing in your own."
The waitress delivered the bill after we went to dinner, and the credit card fell to the floor. Dorothy looked for it under the table and when she didn't see it she announced in the restaurant, "Our poor, poor credit!"
Dorothy was taking a bath, and I couldn't reach something in the bathroom. I gave a frustrated, growling, grumpy sound. Dorothy said, "Don't make that bad noise. My dad will think I'm in trouble."
