We went to a trunk-or-treat and came home with a bag of candy. Dorothy dumped her candy on the floor and started putting it in little piles. Then she said, "Ms. Candace says you can sort anything."
Dorothy is being moved to a new class at school. I told her, "Do you remember that you're moving to Ms. Mary's class on Monday? They might even move your cubby." Dorothy said, "They don't move the cubby. They just move the name."
Dorothy had $1.07 in change and we went to the Dollar Store to spend it on one item and tax. She brought her toy to the check-out and dumped-out her money. A nickel must have been stuck in the bottom of her change purse. The cashier said, "I need another nickel." Dorothy stood still, looked at her expectantly, and stated factually, "It's missing."
