Recently Dorothy picked up the habit of saying "very goodly", as in, "I can skip very goodly."
Dorothy was playing with a calculator. She asked me a few questions, like how to make the zero appear and whether she could make the zero disappear. Finally she asked, "And how do I send?"
I stepped out of the shower and Dorothy said, "Your hair isn't wet." "I decided not to wash it tonight, so I kept it dry," I said. "How did you do that?" she asked.
We have a new "stomp rocket" toy where you can stomp on a pedal and a foam rocket shoots into the air. Dorothy was showing me how to use it. It works well most of the time but occasionally one will just flop over. "Daddy calls those 'studs'," Dorothy said.
