I noticed that Dorothy was holding a booger and asked her to go wash her hands. She returned and said, "I washed the booger, so it doesn't have germs on it anymore."
We were listening to a story about superpowers. "I want my superpower to be flying, and breathing under water," Dorothy said. "Oh, and the power to go to sleep right away by lullaby. That would really help me."
Dorothy was struggling to read the words "tennis shoes" and once she sounded it out, she exclaimed, "What!? Why did they spell it like that? It's 'ten-a shoes.'"
I wiggled Dorothy's tooth and told her that I think it might come out this weekend. "Do you think the Tooth Fairy works on the weekends?" she asked.
