I told Dorothy the story of The Gift of the Magi, and at its end, Dorothy said, "I thought that they were going to buy each other the thing they got rid of. So, like, he was going to buy her the wig of her own hair."
Dorothy woke me up in the morning. "I'm so excited. I don't know why I'm excited. What are we doing today?" she asked. "Well, we have a Zoom birthday party for your cousin Erik today," I said. "Oh, I didn't know that. You didn't tell me that!" she said. "That can't be what I'm excited about, because you didn't tell me about it. What else are we doing today?"
Dorothy takes an allergy medicine, and she confidently checks the amount in the cup: 5 "mill-e-a-tors."
