We were watching a show about ballet dancers. "They dance on their toes, and that must be easy for them! They have flat-toed ballet shoes," Dorothy observed.
Dorothy's school has a few playgrounds, and I asked her which one she played on that day. "The run-away-from-Elijah playground," she answered.
Dorothy complained that her online reading program made her "login again to continue learning."
I mentioned to Dorothy that I had trouble sleeping the previous night, and that I got up and ate a big snack. "That sounds like so much fun," Dorothy said enviously.
Gram sent us mail from Valdosta, and I was pleased that it arrived so quickly. "It usually takes 4 hours to get to Valdosta, but it took two days for the mail to get here," Dorothy complained.
