Dorothy referred to the sun-faded spots on my car's paint as "sunbathing stains."
The teacher asked the kids what they did over spring break, and I asked Dorothy whose vacation sounded the most fun. "Mine did," she said, "because I saw 6 of my cousins. Or maybe Hope's was even better. She went to the Bahamas, whatever that is."
Dorothy put on some yummy-smelling lip gloss and then she kissed my elbow. "Now smell your elbow," she instructed me.
