The Sunday Funny
Dorothy comes home from school with stories about her friends wanting to taste all her foods at lunch.
Today, she said, "Aubrey wanted a piece of my seaweed. I told her she could have one, but if anybody else asked for one, she would have to share hers with them."
I said, "That's a good idea. Why are your friends so interested in your food? Do you ever eat some of theirs?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because it's disgusting," Dorothy replied.
"What is disgusting about the foods they bring?" I asked.
"Their foods aren't disgusting," she clarified. "Sharing food is disgusting."

The Sunday Funnies
Dorothy's language is growing as fast as she is and I'm tickled when her comments surprise me...
Regarding a tv show we were watching: "That show had a lot of f-bombs."
Regarding a suggestion I made about her science project: "Trust the process."
Regarding the heist at the Louvre, when I said that there is a manhunt going on across France: "They're probably in another country by now."
