Sarah: Do you want to go outside?
Dorothy: Nyah. (This is a new addition to her vocabulary.)
Sarah: What?
Dorothy: Nyah. That means "no".
Dorothy let me know that ladybugs are only girls, not boys. I asked if baby ladybugs have daddies. She said, "They just have two mommies."
Sometimes I'll ask Dorothy a question and halfway through the story I'll realize that she has explained it to me before. She usually also lets me know that she is telling me again. Recently, she's let me know by saying, "I told you this when I was three."
