Two years ago when Dorothy misspelled a word in the school Spelling Bee, she was upset when her friend told her, "I can't believe you got out on the word superb! It's such an easy word!"
So, the day after she competed in the District Spelling Bee, she told me, "People at school asked what word I got out on. And I decided to say, 'Ferret. How would you have spelled it?'"
