The Sunday Funnies: School Edition

Here are a few phrases Dorothy seems to have picked up at school:**
Be quick and quiet!**
This is not a time for fun and games.**
The friends are waiting on you!**
Red light means stop talking.**

When I picked Dorothy up from school, the teacher was reading a book to the children.**
After we left I asked Dorothy:  I saw that you were sitting in a chair next to the teacher, and the other kids were sitting in chairs in the circle.  What was the story?**
Dorothy:  It was about dinosaurs.

The Sunday Funnies

Sarah:  Let's read this book.  It's called "The Shoemaker and the Elves".**
Dorothy:  And "the Wife".

Dorothy, thinking back to October:  Why Daddy crashed his car to pieces?**
Sarah:  It was scary, I bet.**
Dorothy:  I cried.**
Sarah:  You weren't even there in the car when it happened.**
Dorothy:  I cried at home.

Dorothy:  Mom, can you spray that and give me a paper towel so I can Windowdex it?

Dorothy:  You are the Cat in the Hat.**
Sarah:  Okay, Sally.**
Dorothy:  Can you say something Cat in the Hat-ty?

Dorothy, referencing Jane in Mary Poppins:  Jane's dad said put money in the bank, but we put it in the fountain.

Sarah:  We are going to Chipotle for lunch.**
Dorothy:  I would like chips.**
Sarah:  Okay.**
Dorothy:  And I will need something for dipping.**
Sarah:  Okay.**
Dorothy:  And I will choose it.
