Dorothy was reading a "Fantasy Book Title Generator" from the library, which assigns a book title from a chart based on your initials.  Her title is Powerful Dragon, Brian's is Whimsical Dragon, and mine is Secret Ogre.  "Ogre!" I exclaimed.  "It's okay, Mom," Dorothy said.  "Anything secret is good."

Second start, second grade

We got the sad news today that Dorothy's teacher, Ms. Wilkey, is being moved to another school due to the district's headcount, and Dorothy's class will be doled out to the other 4 second grade teachers starting tomorrow.  Tears were shed.

I told Dorothy that this Lego was scaring me, so she left a reminder note

"You know what enrages me?  It enrages me that the new science teacher, Mrs. Peters, has a sign above her door.  The sign says 'Go Dawgs.'  Is that even allowed in school?"
