The Sunday Funnies

Dorothy's strep throat came with scarlet fever, a head-to-toe rash.  She was irritating the area around her mouth by licking it, and she told me, "My skin feels like sandpaper.  Feel it!"  I touched her chin, and agreed.  "Now feel it with your tongue," she suggested.

Dorothy held her hand in the light of a prism.  It reminded her of the picture book A Bad Case of the Stripes.  "It's like that Rainbowpox book we used to read," she said.

"I always call the Tangled movie Rapunzel," I said.  Dorothy replied, "I still don't know why they call the Jasmine movie Aladdin."
