The Sunday Funny
Dorothy knows about lead poisoning. Lately, we have been playing the board game Clue and we even watched the movie, where a character is hit over the head and killed by the lead pipe. "Wait," Dorothy interrupted, "so they didn't make him drink from it?"

The Sunday Funnies
Dorothy referred to the Chick-fil-a mascot: "You know those cows that say 'Eat more chickens?'"
Dorothy wanted to buy an overpriced stuffed animal keychain; I showed her a picture of a cheaper one that I had on reserve to give her instead. But she said, "Oh! It can have a friend!"
We were doing a hidden picture search, and we were supposed to look for a volleyball, or, in Dorothy's words, "some sort of textured ball."

The Sunday Funnies
Dorothy appeared at 9 a.m. and announced, "I slept in 'cause I was sleepy."
Dorothy will, of course, eavesdrop or read over our shoulders. Brian was explaining something on the news to Dorothy, and she interrupted him: "I know. I over-read something on Mama's phone."
Dorothy was playing a video game where various bouncing characters move through different landscapes. "Help Derek trudge through the forest," the game instructed. Dorothy pushed the button and he made soaring leaps through the terrain, rigged like all the other characters. "He's not exactly trudging," Dorothy snarled.
Big Daddy once again expressed surprise that Dorothy, who is afraid of many things, likes A Series of Unfortunate Events, which they are both reading. "I thought the worst part was when the aunt got eaten by giant leeches," he said. "I still can't believe you like these books!" "Well they weren't giant leeches," Dorothy corrected.
