In her song Mean, Taylor slings an insult at a critic:

Talking over a football game
With that same big loud opinion
I remarked that Taylor was using the image of the man watching football in a bar to look down on him, but that she is now dating an NFL player and attending games herself.
Dorothy defended Taylor: "She's looking down on him because he's talking over a football game, and the other people can't hear the game."
For the life of me, I can't recall the set-up, but I scribbled down the punchline:
Dorothy and I laughed at something ridiculous, and I suggested that Dad would be confused when he came home and found out. I said something like, "Dad will ask what in the world we've been up to." Dorothy added, "We'll exchange looks..."
