The Sunday Funnies

Mom:  Did you know that grits are made out of corn?**
Dorothy:  And corn is made out of yogurt!

Mom:  There's an ant bed.**
Dorothy:  That's where the ants sleep.

Mom:  Would you like your medicine in the tub?**
Dorothy:  No!  In my mouth.

Scene:  Communion line at church**
Dorothy:  What did you just eat?**
Mom:  Communion.**
Dorothy:  Did you crunch it?

Dorothy:  I'm shivering.**
Dad:  Let's put some socks on your feet.**
Dorothy:  But my body is cold.

Mom:  Be careful with these toys.  They are glass and they might break.**
Dorothy:  And you'll pick up the pieces.

The Sunday Funnies

Dorothy's pronunciation guide:

Let's eat sumpin'.  Perhaps yogret.  Or maybe raviolio.  I need a fork and a soom.

Listen to the moosic.  Let's pretend to be am-mimals and dump up and down.

Dorothy:  Blow up a barroon for me.**
Mom:  You want a barroon?**
Dorothy:  No, not a barroon.  A barroon.
