The Sunday Funnies

Brian was telling Dorothy about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  "Turtles that are the size of humans and eat pizza?  That's ridiculous," Dorothy said.  Brian explained, "Well, a radioactive ooze caused them to mutate, which made them grow and talk, and they were trained to fight by their sensei, Splinter, who is a rat."  Dorothy listened attentively and then dismissed, "Well that makes it even less realistic."

We saw a commercial for "Ace Hardware, your neighborhood store."  "We don't have one of those," Dorothy commented.  "Yes we do," I said, "that's where Daddy gets paint sometimes."  "It's not in our neighborhood," she pointed out.
